Many customers love to come in to buy quality beef that has rich flavor and is not stuffed full of the hormones, additives, etc.. like grocery store meat.  With our small town atmosphere, we can spend more time with our customers giving them the best advice for their selections.

The business is family owned and operated for over 21 years, over 16 in Moab.  There is over 100 years of meat cutting experience between the 3 family members who own the business.


The Old Geezer himself started cutting meat in his early 20's for various companies throughout his career until his retirement a few years ago.


Ma Geezer has done meat cutting for about the same amount of time as the Old Geezer.


The Young Geezer continues to cut meat the way he was taught from both parents and has done so since 1995.  He continues to run the business today.



Ye Ol' Geezer Meat Shop started in a garage behind the Ender's Hotel in Soda Springs, ID in 1994.  After a couple of years and increased business, the shop was moved into the building next to Ender's where it stayed until March of 1999. 




The meat shop opened in its new location on April 15, 1999 in Moab, where it has been ever since.

Atlas Tailings - Named for the uranium mined and processed in Moab in the 1950's.
